About the Image(s)
I went to photograph the wassailing activities of some morris dancers who do a ceremony at a fruit farm near where I live - the idea being (I quote) "to wake up the trees, ward off evil spirits". It's quite a photographic spectacle but awkward to shoot due to the difficulty in getting a "clean" background; the dancing is by the farm buildings. This is the best I managed. Taken at f6.3 1/250s ISO400 85mm. Any suggestions?

Andrew,
I think you did well, the lady in the front got all my attention; I love her glasses and smile.
She seems to be in the shadow of something to her left. I created a mask to increase her exposure. And I also blurred the people behind her a little bit to make her the focus. Do you agree?   Posted: 01/12/2025 00:37:54

Well Andrew, this is interesting. Lots of people and instruments to look at. Would it be possible to isolate the woman, frontal right and leave her as she is but make the rest of the image slightly darker and less distinct. The woman would become an immediate center of interest. Just a thought.   Posted: 01/12/2025 22:07:33
