About the Image(s)
This photo was taken at the end of June last year. Foxgloves, Lupines, daisies, etc. were blooming all over the mountain. This picture was taken during sunset. It is stacked with two photos. One photo focused on Mt. Rainier and another one focused on the wildflowers. I used Nikon D850, Nikon 18-35mm, f/8, 35mm, 1/400, iso-640 to take the picture. In post-processing, I blended the two pictures together so that the mountain and the wildflowers are all in focus. I also increased the saturation of the flowers and increased the contrast a bit.

It's a very pretty scene--nice sharpness and colors.
On the nit picky side, I'd clone out what looks like the edge of a white daisy on the border on the lower right side
I really like the flowers but I'm not sure the background adds much the brightness of the upper sky attracts the eye. I tried cropping this and I like the result. You can play with the exact placement and any blending or modification of colors.   Posted: 07/18/2024 04:25:45

I really like this foreground Peter. In fact, it really is the subject.
The mountain in the background is attractive but those flowers in the foreground arrest the attention and become the subject so much so that the mid and background are not needed. I like what Bob did with his crop.   Posted: 07/18/2024 09:48:32

I really like the color and detail in this image Peter. I am of mixed emotion as to the mountain and sky in the background. Although it is very striking, my eye keeps ping ponging between the foreground and the background. The use of a wide angle lens tends to exaggerate the distances between the front and back.   Posted: 07/19/2024 19:31:37

Peter: The focus of this photo are the tack sharp flowers in the foreground. Which are gorgeous. Having said that the second eye catching concept that contributes to the beauty of this image is the lighting. The blending of these two images and the individual lighting contribution of each makes for a spectacular photo for the viewer.
