About the Image(s)

: This photo was taken in Central Washington near Umatilla National Wildlife Refuge in Sept. I saw several dragonflies flying around, two of them mating. I immediately took out my Sony 200-600mm telephoto lens and captured few moments of their mating. Focusing handheld with a telephoto lens wasn't easy, but I still managed to take some clear images. The camera settings are Nikon Z8, Sony 200-600mm with Megadap ETZ21 adapter, f/6, 1/1600 secs, ISO-800. 293mm. In post-processing, I cropped the photo, increased the contrast, and brightened the shadows.
