I made this image on my recent trip to Kenya just before sundown. Taken with my Nikon Z9 with Nikon 100 to 400 lens at 1/1250 sec, f/5 and ISO 1000

Spectacular image Howard. The symmetry in the shot is captivating. I noticed that you had a high ISO and wondered if you could have backed that off somewhat with a longer exposure....to reduce noise. Nonetheless, gorgeous capture. Posted: 12/07/2025 19:06:13
Thanks for your comments, Kathy. We were in Kenya in a safari vehicle, and it was getting quite dark out. I did use noise reduction to get it this good. Posted: 12/08/2025 01:28:39
