November 2025 - Affection

About the Image(s)

This family photograph of me, captured around 7:50 a.m. in 2015, was taken using natural light streaming through a window at home. Presented in black and white, Affection captures the quiet poetry of love between a father and child. Their foreheads meet in a gentle gesture that speaks beyond words ??” a moment of trust, warmth, and unspoken understanding. The simplicity of monochrome draws the viewer closer to the emotion itself, revealing the timeless purity of human connection. In post-processing, I slightly darkened the background to enhance subject focus and applied subtle sharpening to bring out fine details while preserving the natural softness of the moment.
