I like this a lot--very much like a painting. I would crop in on both sides to eliminate having a border through flowers in the foreground. I like the effect of having a modern city in the background. It. makes the city remote emphasizes the dreaminess. The flowers set up a line from the lower left diagonally toward the upper right You might play with darkening the white areas in the sky a bit.   Posted: 07/15/2025 07:01:58

Joseph, I always love these images of the huge sunflowers. I have never photographed them, but I would love to. I like your inclusion of middle ground and background as contrast to the field of flowers. And the warm colors in the sky & cityscape also provide a nice contrast. I'm wondering if possibly a little less definition in the sunflowers might be desirable.   Posted: 07/17/2025 13:06:42

Joseph: This photo is a great example of perspective. Your eyes immediately follow the field of sunflowers until you get to the buildings and sky. I would crop the photo on both sides (as Bob suggested). The image also gives the illusion of two different photos. The sunflowers in the foreground with warm tones to the hills and sky with cool tones. Personally, I find this quite interesting. However, you might want to blend these areas a little bit to add to a better composition.   Posted: 07/17/2025 19:54:09

Nice and sharp with great detail. I agree that a crop on both sides would help and adjusting the color on the hills would make this an even stronger image.   Posted: 07/20/2025 21:08:47

Joseph, The image is visually striking, with strong painterly qualities and excellent detail. The vast sunflower field creates a powerful sense of perspective that leads the viewer's eye naturally toward the distant cityscape, which contrasts nicely with the natural foreground.
With some cropping and tonal adjustments, it could be elevated to a professional presentation level.   Posted: 07/24/2025 23:20:25
