This is a close-up nature photograph of giant water lilies floating on dark water. The round lilies with raised edges create a striking geometric pattern across the water surface. I like the composition of this photo very much. The "pods" all seem to lead one's eye toward the front pod. Additionally, the smaller leaves at the bottom seem to frame the same front pod.
