About the Image(s)
Half a billion birds fly over the Hula Valley twice a year, 400 different bird species pass through here on their way from cold Siberia to warm Africa in the fall and back in the spring. A
feast for photographers, this year I came to photograph them.

Great shot. Love the colors. Part of me thinks it would be better without the five or so birds on the right. Cropping and cloning could take care of that and I feel the picture would have have more cohesion. That group gives the picture a second center.   Posted: 03/28/2025 09:50:49

This evocative image captures sandhill cranes in shallow water at golden hour. skillfully balances cool blue tones with warm golden reflections. The birds create a compelling horizontal composition while the rippled water surface adds texture and dimension. Excellent exposure preserves both bird detail and atmospheric lighting. well done.   Posted: 03/31/2025 03:29:39
