About the Image(s)
I made this image last summer on our mediterranean cruise during a stay in Venice. I think this is one of my favorite cities. This is a 3 shot pano, handheld from our moving boat. Processed in Photomatix Pro, Lightroom and Topaz photo AI. Taken with my Nikon Z8 and 24 to 200 lens at 1/1250 sec, f/4 and ISO 125. I am constantly amazed that when I take an HDR image, that it does not seem to matter what my f-stop is, the image seems sharp from front to back.

This is a rich and attractive image, combining movement and vibrant colors. With a little softening in the rendering and precision in the composition, it could become a more balanced and natural visual work. Very impressive work!   Posted: 01/05/2025 13:01:24

Good use of the canal as a leading line. Really pretty and great colors. I cannot add more to the previous comment.   Posted: 01/07/2025 18:04:36

The canal is an excellent leading line Howard, which leads the viewer from front back and creates depth.
I would try reducing the exposure just a tad to deepen the colours. It may or may not enhance the overall image.
What a glorious image full of colour and movement and a superb depiction of busy canal activity in Venice.
