About the Image(s)

We are a group of photographers, we meet once a month and at each meeting we plan a topic we want to practice on.
This time we were looking for photos in natural light, we hired a model who was photographed in a persimmon grove.

Very pretty, nice and sharp, great color on the red, and nicely centered.

The only changes I would suggest is the place where the branches comes together is bright and my eye first went there. It's directly above the model's head. I would also get rid of the part of the persimmon that seems to come out of her head. Very well done, overall. Actually there are a few bright spots on the branches that it would help to tone down a trifle.   Posted: 01/07/2025 18:08:12

Red does it every time. Very good lighting Joseph, Great sharpness and detail. Perhaps I would recommend you brighten the face just a little because that's where I want my eye to concentrate on. It's an interesting choice to shoot this in pano mode, I might crop to a vertical to keep the focus on the model.   Posted: 01/14/2025 22:48:05

The rich red in this image is stunning Joseph and makes for an attractive image.
As already suggested, I would crop vertical or even square as the sides don't add anything to the overall image as your model is the true point of interest. A little glow on her face would also enhance this image I think.
It is clear, focussed and a pleasure to look at.   Posted: 01/15/2025 08:17:07

Joseph, your image with the persimmons has good visual impact and interest, and I feel the surrounding bushes compliment the subject. Agree that the persimmon behind her head should be removed. Well thought out.
