About the Image(s)
This image was taken last year at a local junkyard. As I wandered the yard looking for textures and patterns of rust, I saw this scene ??“ the interplay of decay and nature. Seeing a tree find its way to the light showed me its resilience regardless of the obstacles.
The basic photo adjustments were made in Topaz Photo AI and Lightroom.
Handheld Canon R5, 24-105mm lens at ISO 320, 24 mm, f4.0, 1/80 sec

Unusual find but certainly it is something interesting. I like that the colors aren't bold. The whole image takes on a feeling of an old photograph. In fact it might be even better if done in sepia.   Posted: 04/17/2025 18:27:23
Thanks Larry. Never thought of sepia but will give it a try.   Posted: 04/18/2025 16:08:40
This looks like Old Car City in GA. Larry may be on to something with the sepia mono effect. I like the composition including the choice of focal length and the position of the car in the image. The sharp vine in front of the car catches my eye so a focal point farther would have been my suggestion.   Posted: 04/17/2025 23:34:25
Thanks for your suggestions Michael. It wasn't Old Car City but a local junkyard with acres of cars.   Posted: 04/18/2025 16:10:21
Barbara, I like the composition with the car standing there diagonally. Nice one!   Posted: 04/19/2025 20:49:29
