A scene from the North Loop Trail, Mt Charleston, NV, taken in mid-afternoon, April 2022. Image captured with a Panasonic DMC-G7 camera converted to IR with a 590 nm Super Color filter, 12-60 mm Lumix lens at 22 mm, f/8,1/320 sec. Processing was in Photoshop using a channel-swap action to bring out the blue sky.

A lovely mountaintop shot. I like the way you converted the sky to blue and left the mountain to black and white. I would have enjoyed the brown rock section on your original, to have remained in the brown color. For me the beauty of this image are the trees on the mountain. They look like a rug laid over an uneven surface. Much of the foreground foliage could easily be cropped to draw attention to those trees.   Posted: 11/19/2022 13:41:31
