This is a fine image Tatu and you are fortunate to have a location like this so close to your summer cottage. Your composition and use of the elements in this scene is very strong, resulting in a very good landscape photo. I hope you don't mind, but I had a little play with your original image. I loaded it into PS, opened a Channel Mixer layer and switched it to monochrome, then adjusted the green slider to make the foliage more white as expected in IR, then also altered red and blue sliders to bring the numbers back to close to the preferred 100, without darkening the image too much. Then opened a brightness and contrast layer, increased the brightness just a little, but gave the contrast a good kick to the right. Then a curves layer and just changed the straight diagonal to a very slight "S" curve, which just altered the lights and darks. Lastly, I applied sharpening and denoise in Topaz Photo. All this was done to try a give your image a little more IR punch. I hope you don't mind and are not offended.   Posted: 08/10/2026 07:56:46

Thanks Ian. Actually there is not so much sense to edit the tiny 290 kb reproduction of the actual 7 mb large photo, but I see that you have done a great job. I don't have the Photoshop and don't like to use my Affinity in the laptop. I just like to do everything with the Snapseed of my pad, as it is super fast comparing to the computer.
