About the Image(s)
This image was taken sometime within the last two months or so. A photographer friend who also likes IR, phoned me one afternoon and said "Hey Ian, there's nice blue sky at the moment with those white fluffy things floating in it that should photograph well in IR, shall we?" I didn't have to be asked twice. This location is known as Richmond Lowlands is just a 15 minute drive from home and usually goes under water when we have our periodic floods. Taken late in the afternoon, hence the long shadows and the light was going quickly. Details are Nikon D200; 24-120 lens; ISO 100; F10 & 1/50. On a completely separate issue, another friend wanted to give me his old D200 (that means I'll have 2 of them). I'm half thinking about getting it converted to colour infra red, should I and can you all please email me to advise the ins and outs of processing colour infra reds.
