About the Image(s)
My wife and I enjoyed a five-night break away to our mid north coastal town of Forster, which is a 3.5 hour drive north of Sydney. On a day trip to the larger nearby town so Jenny could enjoy some retail therapy, we passed this old shed as we were entering Taree. Details are: Nikon D200; Nikon 18-105 @ 32mm; ISO 100; F16; 1/60 and hand held.

Love the note of 'retail therapy'. What a great shack. The only comment I would make would be to lighten the shadows on the shack and work on textures if possible on it as well.   Posted: 03/09/2025 10:26:24
Thanks for your comments Debbie. This year I'm on a mission to improve my post processing skills and local adjustments is right up there on the wish list.   Posted: 03/24/2025 22:32:21
I agree with Debbie, and would add that the tones could be lightened more with contrast. I wish my husband understood more about retail therapy!   Posted: 03/12/2025 14:33:42

Very nice picture. My only comment is about the composition and balance of the picture. I would have cropped a little from the left side of the pic in order to have the hut and the outstreching branch on the right to balance each others. But this is quite good also without that.   Posted: 03/27/2025 07:09:14
