About the Image(s)
Surreal vs. Psychedelic: Which do you prefer?
For the surreal image, I used the pixel sort, impact, and reflective surface modes in Onelab.
For the psychedelic image, I added RGB shift.
Combined and resized in the gimp.

Steve, I really like the left side image - very good choice in post processing technique. Great texture on the torso.
See my version - I cleaned up a bit on the right side to better display the torso - did not spend much time on it as it could be improved.
The Psychedelic version, although interesting, does not work for me as well.

I enjoyed both of these. For me the surreal image is the better of the two, and looks as if the statue is dissolving as it stands. Good creative work!   Posted: 01/09/2025 20:08:44

Good job on both of the torsos, Steve. The left side has good textures and a good color palette. The right side is more playful with the green and pink palette. This image appears to be flowing out of the frame. The two make a good duo.   Posted: 01/15/2025 19:36:29

I prefer the surreal version, mostly because it has much more depth and texture than the other one. The bright area in the upper right original detracts from the torso, so I would suggest cloning the shadow portion of the background to that area before your other processing. This is really creative enhancement on your part that takes a simple snapshot into the realm of art. Well done.   Posted: 01/17/2025 20:27:38
