This is my interpretation of getting away from it all. Just a composite of several photos from my stash. I started with Original 1 and placed the island from Original 2 in the cove. The footbridge required a lot of tedious masking to get rid of the area behind it but keep the ropes intact. After I had all the elements placed where I wanted them, I added a bit of fog to give a bit more interest. Next, I used PS filter gallery to give it a painterly finish. Then into Color Efex for the Soft Focus filter.

Very nice fantasy destination. Another great job at compositing. Nice moody scene.
For my taste, there is a bit too much going on in the scene. For me the boat and birds are not required as they take my eyes away from the bridge (or vice versa). Posted: 01/09/2025 17:04:17

Super creative image. I disagree that too much is going on, since the fact that there is so much, acts like a story with so many chapters to be told. When I revisit, I see something new each time. Very successful! Posted: 01/09/2025 20:16:23
Once again, you have given us a wonderful composite. All of the items work well together to create an interesting story. The addition of the flowers in the foreground give just enough needed color to the image. The boat and birds seem to balance the bridge. The soft focus and fog are a perfect finish.
