About the Image(s)
This photo was taken on March 23 during a photo walk in Orlando with the Orlando Camera Club. I intended to get a photo at the golden hour. The jet vapor trail was a bonus. My camera is a Nikon Z50. I don't have any fancy lenses, and my camera is pretty basic. I used Lightroom to crop the sky and to add a small bit of contrast and shadows. There was no other lens on the camera, and I believe it was set in manual mode.
I am also using my Apple 17 Pro quite a bit.

Welcome to Group 29! Very interesting photo with the sun reflections (I'm guessing from windows on another building) on the concrete wall. Must have been a pretty sunset, judging from the colors you captured.   Posted: 04/02/2026 00:34:21
Welcome, Linda. I'm sure it feels like a long wait for you this month. There is a lot of detail in your image, so I think you should be happy with your gear. The color is great, and the image sharp. The subject is terrific. In LR you can use Auto Transform to straighten most images, and I too think you need that on this image. The contrail leads into your building, but I might crop some of the sky to make the line more prominent. I used the masking tool in LR to select the sky, building, sunset and reflections to add some slight adjustments, and the Point Color tool to target some slight tonal changes. Beautiful image.   Posted: 04/08/2026 20:34:39
Hi Linda, welcome to the group.
This is a great first photo for the group. I like the reflections of the light on the building and the great gradient in the sky. Like the others have said, I would straighten to get the building in line. I like how Bob boosted colors too.   Posted: 04/11/2026 01:43:12

Welcome! I like Bob's edit, but might increase the blue in the sky. I like the reflections.   Posted: 04/12/2026 16:22:25
