Taken at a nursery as it is still too early for plants to be outside. Seeing anything in bloom makes me ready for spring! Taken handheld, 100 mm macro. ISO 400, f 5.0, 1/200 sec.

Elaine - love that the background is very muted. I felt like the image could have been sharper if you used a higher F-stop. However, I was able to make your image appear sharper by using the auto haze tool.

I usually take my images into Topaz AI for sharpening, but was in a hurry to get a photo ready and skipped that step. Posted: 04/12/2026 16:17:36
Hi Elaine, I have to defer to the K's on whether the image is sharp. It looks good to my old eyes, and I like a little glow on white flowers anyway. The color is terrific too. Spring will come soon, but I am definitely tired of winter. I think a square crop would work well for the image and still leave enough of the stem. Pretty image. Posted: 04/08/2026 21:19:05
