About the Image(s)
This was taken on a group visit to Powderham Castle and these deer can often be found in the parklands. I arrived an hour earlier than the group I was mentoring and this was the moment the deer decided to vacate across the river into inaccessible grounds and out of sight - just before my group arrived.
Nikon D850 1/2000 at ISO 640 at 200mm - minimal processing from RAW and cropped.

What a terrific nature story - Like everything about it. It's almost like you spoke to the deer to "Line Up".   Posted: 02/13/2025 14:27:31
Great story about your photo.I like the way they are lined up in a row with one feeding and one looking back. It makes a good pano--at least the sizing makes it look like a pano.
