I took this picture a couple of weeks ago. I was driving by a small pond and noticed how the colors of the trees were reflecting so beautifully. Of course I had to go back with my camera and check it out. ISO 200, f800, 1/800 sec. at 300mm.

Great capture of the autumnal color reflection, which fills the negative space well. Ideally I would like to see the birds eyes a little more prominently, but obviously not something you can do if entering into a nature comp. Posted: 11/08/2024 15:35:29
Another nice nature capture. The geese are nice and sharp, and are in a nice position. For me I would prefer a more landscapist composition - personal taste. See attached Posted: 11/09/2024 19:19:22
A very nice capture Karen. I to like fall colors reflecting in water and your colors are ideal. Great composition. I wondering what I'm seeing to the top side of the right hand goose. It's brown like the colors of baby geese. Or maybe you removed or cloned something? It doesn't really detract from the image but a photo judge might pick up on it. Posted: 11/11/2024 04:27:07

Beautiful color; I can see why you went back for a camera. I like that one head is up and the other down as it adds interest. Sometimes the color reflected looks better than the leaves that are reflected. Another great photo. Posted: 11/26/2024 15:27:01
