This was taken in October at the 41st Weston Super Mare Beach Race - Nikon D850 Sigma 28-300 Zoom at 160mm 1/1000sec at f8 and ISO 400.
Usual sharpening and denoise of the RAW image, converted to B/W and the contrast up a little and then put through TOPAZ.

Like it very much - captured great action, nice and sharp.

That must be quite an event to see and photograph. Well done. It shows action and works well as monochrome. While the extra space is nice, it could not be done in PJ and I think it could do well in PJ. I would like to see it in color too. Posted: 11/26/2024 15:21:23
