While exploring a village near Hyderabad, I noticed a small house with tiny windows. A few children, curious about the stranger walking around with a camera, began watching me closely. I stepped back quietly, allowing the moment to unfold naturally. Their innocent curiosity, framed by the little windows, created a simple yet intimate scene that caught my eye. I raised my camera and captured the moment.

Very nice image, Firdaus. The faces and eyes certainly pull you in and provide good impact. Your subject is clear and I can almost hear them asking 'who is it?'. The smile on their faces makes me smile in return. The faces make a nice triangle and add a cool diagonal to the iron grid. I think the b/w suits it well and removes possible distractions. The lighting on the faces is nicely modeled, did you do dodging? If it was a window, I think we would see the little girl's nose pressed against the glass. Posted: 08/18/2026 20:30:58
