About the Image(s)
This was taken at a very large area of flowers at a local county park. I got quite a few photos worth keeping.

I enjoyed looking at this image, Kathy. This has strong impact and a clearly defined subject, which I often struggle with. More than just the plant itself, it speaks of an aging process and a life cycle to me. The warm green contrasts nicely with the blue sky giving it emphasis; clouds would have competed with it for sure.
I find myself wanting to see the face of a flower. I could also see cropping and tilting at an angle to give more visual interest... it would add a diagonal line and leaves a bit of mystery perhaps.   Posted: 08/06/2026 20:17:56

Interesting to photograph from the back. I, too, see the end of season in the image.   Posted: 08/18/2026 16:56:04
I like the perspective as this is more of an abstract view, great sharpness and colours.   Posted: 08/18/2026 20:22:15
