July 2026 - Snuggling Pademelons

I have just returned from a trip to Tasmania, not the usual time to go to Tassie ( Tasmania ) its the middle of winter and very cold
at this time of year but I think its the best time to go, not many tourists and so green and often a light dusting of snow. My partner and I were on a small hike in Cradle Mountain National Park and came across these 2 Pademelons snuggling together.They are tiny little things, very cute, weigh only 4-6kg.

That's too cute Annmarie! Good for you for braving the winter season and finding such a tender moment. Such great detail. I think the vignette is a good idea, too. Maybe even a tighter crop? Posted: 07/09/2026 21:18:31
