About the Image(s)
Last fall my friend and I went to White Sands National Park after the PSA Photo Festival in Tucson. We went two days both in the early morning and at the end of the day. In the morning, the sand is textured from the previous night’s light winds and artistic textures appear everywhere. This is an example of the texture we saw.
When we first arrived there, it was almost dark.
As it got lighter, I forgot to change the settings. 1/6400 f/9 ISO 1000

Kathy, I think this is an extremely gorgeous composition. I don't know if I would call it an abstract but more a real work of art. Love the simplicity and detail.   Posted: 07/20/2025 17:06:25
The simplicity is beautiful. Well done.   Posted: 07/20/2025 19:10:11
Excellent simplicity. I like the way you left lots of space around the plant to give it room. The textures in the sand are fantastic and shadows add interest.   Posted: 07/28/2025 23:30:45
