I love this image! Great leading line to man/dog/lighthouse. While the smoke was "bad" for health reasons, it really adds moodiness to the images.
Did you ask the man to walk his dog toward the lighthouse or was this a happy accident?   Posted: 07/01/2025 14:33:22

Hey Steve, thanks for the kudos. The man is my son and the dog is mine. It was a happy accident like the other. I'm not a huge fan of taking "people" pictures, except when they are walking away and/or don't know...more candid.   Posted: 07/06/2025 18:40:36

Super image Sandra. The image would have been a record shot without your son and dog. Being from the east coast I would have thought it was fog coming in but in my opinion the smoke adds an element that helps give it nice visual impact. This is an excellent composition and all technical aspects are outstanding.   Posted: 07/20/2025 17:14:20

Excellent shot. The blues in the water stand out with the smoke in the air.   Posted: 07/28/2025 23:34:39
