About the Image(s)
So, I decided to get a camera converted to InfraRed. What clinched the deal was when a friend mentioned that the best time to take IR images is during the middle of the day, when the light is too harsh for standard photography. Since I am traveling a great deal over the next few years, I thought it was a good idea, since mostly when we go “sight-seeing” is during the harshest light. So, I had a camera converted to 720IR and just got it back a week before I leave for Singapore. I have a great deal to learn about IR photography. Here is one of my first images taken during the middle of the day. At first it appears to be a dramatic B&W image, but on closer inspection you see the grass and leaves are white and the sky dark.
