This photo was taken on the Indian reservation near where I live in Arizona. There are herds of wild horses that pass through the area from time to time. The picture was taken with my Nikon D5600, ISO 100, 1/1000 sec, at f5.6 450mm. I cropped it and adjusted the exposure, clarity and a few other minor adjustments.

Great image! I like that the horse is sharp in such a narrow DOF. There is an "orange thing" on the far right I would remove. You might consider adding a vignette to the lower corners to make the subject stand out. Posted: 04/01/2025 15:46:05
Wow, good eye. I had to really search for the "orange thing" but I see it now. Thanks for pointing that out. I had not thought about adding the vignetting. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion. Posted: 04/01/2025 16:06:34
