I like the clarity of the water drops. Without reading your text that it is an Iris waiting to open, it's difficult to know what it is. I like the abstract shape of the Iris and maybe by enhancing the background turn it into an abstract type of photo.   Posted: 03/16/2025 14:58:36

I love the water droplets. The blurred background makes the Iris stand out. Well done   Posted: 03/18/2025 16:34:17

The water droplets make the image and the flower is beautiful by itself. The sharpening looks a little uneven to me. The top of the flower looks a little soft, while the petals behind it look sharp.   Posted: 03/25/2025 10:57:00

I didn't sharpen the image but is very interesting as I was focused on the water   Posted: 03/27/2025 16:03:51

This is indeed what you said in your bio, to shoot what you see when you travel or wander.
Something to think about. You shot at f/5.6 with a slightly long lens, so your depth of field was limited to the front surface of the flower with the water drops. If that was your plan, this is very successful. If you wanted to get the entire flower in sharp focus, you would have needed at least f/8. It depends on what you wanted.   Posted: 03/26/2025 02:38:24

Thanks Stephen, Yes, in this case I was focused on the water droplets, as I do find water interesting   Posted: 03/27/2025 16:01:21
