I shot this in on nature preserve hiking trail with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III. 105mm @ ISO 400, f16, 1/1250, ev -3. I postprocessed it in On1 Raw (sharpening and initial filtering) and did lighting, shading, and sharpening in Gimp.

Scott, I like the effect you created. Those lantern almost look silver! The little bit of shadowing make for a more ominous look. I have no issue with the dark background.   Posted: 11/21/2024 00:37:47
