About the Image(s)
Recently my wife and I took a scenic luncheon train ride on Cape Cod. The foliage was decent but some of the other sites pointed out were fascinating. I decided to drive back the following week to visit the West Barnstable Depot. This abandoned caboose was one of the cars on the grounds. I ran the original image through Luminar Neo for the final look.

Joe, I like the oldness of the caboose and its angle! You might consider raising the exposure or brightness a little!

Thanks, Sheila. I personally like the darker tones - this would not be used for any competitions as I don't compete anymore.   Posted: 11/01/2024 19:58:42

Great find and photo, Joe. The vegetation really shows how long the old caboose has been sitting there.   Posted: 11/14/2024 16:18:28

The angle of the shot is great. It captures lots of interesting "Easter eggs" that pop out the longer you look at it. For example, the ladder is a great detail.   Posted: 11/20/2024 01:43:59

All of the foliage at the front of the caboose is the most interesting part of this photo. I would consider cropping all of the foliage off at the rear end of the caboose. Then lighten and/or darken the caboose and the foliage so that my eye would go right to the window with the red foliage.   Posted: 11/20/2024 04:15:44
