About the Image(s)
This image was taken during the spring in the back yard; while we were still having some rain; now the tree looks pretty sad. Taken with my phone, opened in APS-CS6. Resized and cropped. Thought about changing the B/G but decided against it because I was looking up at the cloudy sky. Framed.

I like the composition...my eye moves from bottom right to top left. And I like the tree branches in the background. The only things I might think about are 1. create a mask for the flowers and play with the exposure, blacks, clarity etc...just to make them pop a little more and 2. after doing that, see if it makes sense to dim down the whites in the sky a bit...not sure about that one.   Posted: 09/09/2023 09:17:23
Growing up in the south, crepe myrtle was always a favorite, and they always seemed like a cloud of blossoms. Your photo gives them a bit more definition while still keeping the softness. I do think the sky could be softened to "cloudy grey" color.   Posted: 09/09/2023 20:44:16
Nicely composed with great color. I have the same suggestions as Audry and Bollin.   Posted: 09/20/2023 11:05:21
