About the Image(s)
Howdy! Hope you all are enjoying a great summer. "Lizard" was taken last March in my yard. Opened and resized in APS-CS6. Used Hue/Saturation, cloned out a few spots, however decided leave to upper leaves with the spots as there had been a recent rain. smart sharpen, then selected the lizard and sharpened him some more.

Is it just me or does this lizard have a bit of "attitude"? Love this shot.   Posted: 08/02/2026 13:24:59
Bollin, yep, he was a feisty little thing. Thanks for your comments.   Posted: 08/21/2026 16:05:58
Great composition and color. Leaving the spots on the leaves gives it a more natural feel. I would try a 1x1 ratio and eliminate some of the bottom of the image.   Posted: 08/18/2026 14:13:02
Eric, I like your idea of cropping some of the bottom, thanks for your comments.   Posted: 08/21/2026 16:10:06
Hi Ruth, like you cute little lizard here. I like how all the colors come together - it all blends together in a quiet way, not strong overpowering colors.
Yes, Bollin, the lizard has an "attitude" was my first impression too. But this is how they come I guess.
Yes, like Eric suggested 1:1 ration will be good. I have actually been experimenting 1:1 ratio for many of my recent images and it seems to work with insects, children, flowers, and cactus/succulents.   Posted: 08/24/2026 03:48:13
