I saw some fungi when out walking. They were not very photogenic from above, so I got down below them and shot them from below - much more interesting I thought.
No special settings: f/6.3, 62mm, 1/60s

Brian, this is a beautiful image! Good choice to get down below. Sharpness and color are excellent, spiderwebs are a great addition to this picture. Too bad you didn't find a elf under the fungi. Posted: 12/12/2025 17:32:09
Perfect angle for this photo. I love the detail in the underside of the fungi. I also like the spider web being in focus. f6.3 was the right choice, in my opinion. Well done. It looks dramatically monumental! Posted: 12/15/2025 02:00:32
