About the Image(s)
This month's selection was taken on 11-21-25 in my front yard. Living in town, I seldom get the chance to see sunrises/sunsets. Number A is the original. Both opened in APS-CS6, resized and framed. #B was cropped from A and then some vibrance used, then clone used on lower right.

Very nice sunset! I like the composition, but having to do the crop also cost in terms of clarity of the image. It looks like some noise slipped in around the leaves and branches. Not sure if that can be corrected.   Posted: 12/12/2025 12:57:40
Very creative image Ruth! Very hard to believe it is the same image (in terms of audience experience and perception of the image). Like Bollin mentioned, the noise is visible due the cropping. I actually like the original image; it felt like a calm and peaceful early evening. I like the orange sky, the green grass and the red car; very interesting color contrast/combination.   Posted: 12/18/2025 06:10:43
As mentioned above, the crop has resulted in a loss of quality, but it's still nice. Sunsets are not easy - and sunrises even harder!
I agree with Jennie - there are some nice elements in the original, so maybe a less drastic crop may be worth exploring.   Posted: 12/18/2025 10:51:01
