Here's my December photo. I just got back from London and Paris, visiting my son and celebrating his 40th birthday. This photo, which perhaps sadly lacks some clarity, was taken in Paris at midnight. My son (all 6'7" of him) is on the right and his best friend on the left. It was taken with an iphone...4.2mm, f/1.6, 1/18. I converted it to black and white and played with some of the settings in lightroom. Also added a linear gradient mask.

Just enough detail in the stairs at the left to make one wonder what is up there, and I like that your son and his friend are heading into the light. The archway is a perfect frame for the image. Nice capture. Posted: 12/18/2025 10:43:35
