I went to Yosemite with some photography friends to see the FireFall at the end of February. We stopped by Merced National Wildlife Refuge again to see the Snow Geese. We went in November last year to picture the Sandhill Cranes. The Cranes were still there but the Snow Geese also came in for winter. This is our second trip in a few months and I think my shots are less random this time … In terms of processing, I used Lightroom to denoise and curve adjustment. Then cropped the image.

Lovely! That "stack" of geese is great. It almost reads as a stop action landing of one bird as opposed to three. Posted: 03/11/2025 12:09:45
