This was a recent photo taken on a trip to Northern California (Merced). We got up early to take picture of the Sandhill Cranes. These birds leave the Wildlife Refuge around 5:30-6:30 in the morning to search for food. We arrived at the refuge before sunrise. This was a picture from my iPhone (as shot). Amazing sunrise. I will share picture of the Sandhill Crane in the future.

Quite a capture! I am trying to look at it more closely and can't seem to enlarge it. When I click on it I just get a small version. What am I doing wrong? Posted: 12/17/2024 16:15:32

Hi Bollin, it could be related it was a iPhone image (lower resolution). I will pay more attention next time. I can send Audrey another version (I render through LR and PS). Not sure it Audrey will be able to switch out the copy though....

Nice composition and color. This is definitely a low resolution image. I imported it into Lightroom Classic and the image was 320 x 240 in size and 0.1 mp. Just to see what would happen I imported it into Topaz Photo AI and ran the denoise and upscale modules. the resulting image is 1280 x 960 and 1.2 mp.
