Driving home this afternoon I spied this train on the track that runs through our village. I turned my car around and found a place to capture it.
As a child "The Little Engine That Could" became a mantra for my life ??” and I’ve been fortunate that it has mostly been the pattern of my life. [The very little engine and the very big hill: "I think I can . . . I think I can . . . I think I can" . . . and when it reached the top, the joyful shout: "I thought I could!"]
And here it was: the very real train right before my eyes. I snapped the picture and experienced the joy of the story’s last line again: "I thought I could!" (and I did!!)
Taken with my iPhone: ISO 32, 3.99mm, f/1.8, 1/1350 sec. In Photoshop I cropped, straightened so the words were on the level, and saved for web.

Audrey, This also brings back memories for me.. This image is sharp with good colors. This would be neat in a child's room.   Posted: 11/14/2024 14:39:07

A nice memory image. The composition, colors and sharpness are very good. The only adjustment I would suggest would be to add a vignette to darken down the edges a bit.   Posted: 11/17/2024 15:58:17

That's a great suggestion. It was a very bright day and I never remember to use a vignette to keep the eye on the subject.   Posted: 11/20/2024 19:08:39
