About the Image(s)
Taken about 3 weeks ago on the grounds of Baylor Scott and White Hospital here in Temple, Tx. Drs. Scott & White were the founders of the hospital. This is a railroad town and medical care was needed for the workers. This is the original cabin that Dr. Scott used as his laboratory, although this is not on the original site. Taken with my phone/camera. Opened and resized in APS-CS6. Used a lot of cloning, and straightened.

Your edits really helped this photo...took out the modern so I could concentrate on the history represented.   Posted: 11/02/2024 21:46:23

Great composition, color, and sharpness. As Bollin says, it focuses on telling the historical story. One would not know it had been moved to a different location. As for possible adjustments, the light in the top left corner attracts the eye. Cropping a little off the top and left side would eliminate this and focus the eye on the cabin.   Posted: 11/18/2024 19:09:20

Lovely image and story. Your crop and the lighting, especially the shadow on the foreground tree lead the eye right to the subject.   Posted: 11/21/2024 22:11:56
