Nice arrangements of these red, white, and blue items. The texture of the feathers has been lost (esp red and blue); I wonder is a different lighting setup would help with that? Posted: 07/24/2024 01:04:31
These were placed atop my washer in the patio. The lighting was available from the sun, so I really had little control over it. Posted: 07/25/2024 20:14:42

Shirley, always love your shoe photos. I have shot many unusual shoes but never wind up with the right theme as you do. Good choice of items to complement the shoes. Well done

I think I still have over 500 shoe images in the folders.... Many are still originals, but most of them have been reworked in PS to make better images...I still have at least 45-50 shoes to shoot, when the weather gets a lot cooler.... We have had over 36 days of 100+ this summer.. I shoot the shoes on my washer in the patio, so I have to have the cooler weather to do so.... Posted: 07/28/2024 20:37:37

Actually it started about 10 years ago when I saw a pair of red and black high boots in a thrift store.... When they "jumped" into my cart that gave me the incentive to shoot the weird or amazing women's heels... I have had more fun doing it, and many have won award in competitions and our local county fair. Posted: 07/30/2024 01:09:03

Shirley - Nice and colorful, but i think it could have been more sharper. May be some specs should have been adjusted like Aperture or ShutterSpeed as it is a still life. Posted: 07/31/2024 16:41:16
