About the Image(s)

Due to the heavy rains this year many of our local creeks and rivers were flooded.. Here is a scene on Ave. 13 where the road is closed due to the flooding of Cottonwood Creek.

Another great capture and definitely story telling. Good composition. I might just crop a small amount off of the top of the photo. Well done   Posted: 09/16/2023 19:00:49

Wow! That's a lot of water. Hope it's receded now. The red barriers really draw your eyes into the photo and there's a great sense of movement with the overflowing water.   Posted: 09/18/2023 17:29:25

Good photojournalism shot, shows the road blockade and the reason for it. Nice leading line with the dam. Is all of the all of the foreground water needed - how about cropping just about half of it?   Posted: 09/21/2023 10:56:51

Great storytelling. I would crop a little in the front which would put more focus on the rushing water over the side of the road. Very emotional and great capture!   Posted: 09/24/2023 16:15:40

Certainly a great image that tells a story.
I like the red barrier in the background, quite subtle, but it
does draws my eye through the image.
