September 2023 - Flooded creek and road closure

Due to the heavy rains this year many of our local creeks and rivers were flooded.. Here is a scene on Ave. 13 where the road is closed due to the flooding of Cottonwood Creek.

Wow! That's a lot of water. Hope it's receded now. The red barriers really draw your eyes into the photo and there's a great sense of movement with the overflowing water. Posted: 09/18/2023 17:29:25
Good photojournalism shot, shows the road blockade and the reason for it. Nice leading line with the dam. Is all of the all of the foreground water needed - how about cropping just about half of it? Posted: 09/21/2023 10:56:51

Certainly a great image that tells a story.
I like the red barrier in the background,quite subtle,but it
