This was a shot shot I took Feb '25 of a lady walking on Île Saint-Louis in Paris. As you can see, a large part of the left side was cropped and to make up for some of the lost image I used the copy brush along with the perspective tool in Affinity Photo to recreate the curb and street on the left. I was surprise how well in worked! I like shooting at night.

Richard - I learn so much from your submissions and am amazed at the difference between your before/after. The copy brush did an amazing job at replicating the street and curb and love the leading line of the sidewalk and positioning of the woman walking down the street. There is a green halo around the light at the right that bothers me a little and I might reduce the lighting on the other lights to keep the focus on the main subject. Posted: 12/14/2025 16:43:11
