The location is The Johnsonburg Swamp Preserve which is funded by The Nature Conservancy in Johnsonburg NJ. The camera was hand held while waiting for just the right wind to disperse milkweed seeds.

Thanks Jill. Ever since I was a kid, I've enjoyed seeing milkweed seeds fly away in the breeze. Milkweed is a very interesting plant. That movie is on my radar to watch, esp after I heard it was filmed mostly in NJ. Posted: 01/18/2025 01:03:09

Richard, excellent very sharp milkweed image. I know it is a still but you can visually see the milkweed seed blowing away. The lighting definitely accentuates the story. Hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of getting rid of the cutoff pod. Better or worse? I like them both. Posted: 01/19/2025 00:01:21
