About the Image(s)

This was shot several years ago with my Lumix camera. The original is actually cropped from the real original as I lost the real original somehow while saving. This was shot at the Chicago Botanic Garden. ISO 100, 1/250 sec, f4.0
I decided, before Joe comments :) to flip the image horizontally.

Great composition. I assume you wanted the bluish-green tint to convey a sense of cold. This works nicely here. The only suggestion I'd make is to warm it up a bit to avoid it being overly tinted. But that's just a personal taste. Otherwise, can't think of a thing to improve this.   Posted: 10/05/2026 15:07:18

I hope I put in the correct final. I tried to make it less green.   Posted: 10/05/2026 17:58:13

Great composition and the flip improved the image. You caught the right sky and the contrast is right on. Good shot!   Posted: 10/05/2026 22:10:36

Brrrr ... Maybe a bit more gray and a little less blue? Possibly the tree on the left puts the overall composition a bit too heavy on that side. Good capture, though.   Posted: 10/09/2026 16:46:26

I agree about the blue. I thought it looked more gray that it shows.   Posted: 10/09/2026 17:49:17
