About the Image(s)
Salmon Glacier taken north of Stewart, BC, CA. It is Canada's fifth-largest glacier and one of the largest road-accessible glaciers in the world. We had to go through "Hell" to get to "Heaven!" It was captured with my Canon EOS R5, Canon 24-105mm lens, handheld; IOS 400, 24mm, f/16, 1/160 sec.
I did basic edits and cropped it in LR. In PS, I cloned out the rock at the bottom, then added a levels, curves and brightness adjustment. I masked the glacier to emphasize the character and flow of the ice. I finished with a kiss of glow.

You nailed this composition! The leading lines of the two arms of the glacier come out of different corners to form one giant rive of ice leading the eye into the image. Perfect focus and exposure from front to back. Great work.   Posted: 10/01/2026 13:54:17
Excellent job--composition, sharpness, and saturation are all right on. Good work   Posted: 10/05/2026 22:31:29
Nice capture. My only comment would be to saturate the sky a little more. It looks fairly blue in the original and kind of washed out here.   Posted: 10/09/2026 18:15:54
