Yes, I agree with Mike and Al's comments and I am fine with part of the door. I suppose you concentrated on the design and the skul. It is colorful and the design is unusual. I also can appreciate the shadows and the sunlight, They add an abstract feeling and the tone is just about right. I would consider removing the wire at the top right.   Posted: 08/11/2026 17:15:17

If the skull was brighter it would distract from the door, but as it is it adds to the character of the door and suggests a particular time and location. The way you make use of the pale blue color gives it almost a monochrome look. The door is a really interesting item to look at, with the dappled shadows and the numbers and tile patterns. Good textures throughout. Perhaps including the whole door might be an improvement, but I think it looks fine just as it is.   Posted: 08/15/2026 01:38:12

I kind of prefer the original because it's more contrasty, deeper shadows, and deeper blue. The skull, though, is improved by being lightened. It's a nice capture of a time and place.   Posted: 08/16/2026 15:36:23
