About the Image(s)
Basic adjustments were made to each image. I cropped and selected the barn then used the Move Tool to put it on another layer in the Chicago image. The Chicago image was also cropped.

Well done, clever idea. A statement about modernity and technology overtaking and even overwhelming our history? Sort of like Saint Patrick's Cathedral in New York becoming lost among the skyscrapers.   Posted: 11/09/2025 14:48:17
Very clever Marti! I love the differences that you chose to put together. With a couple of masts still visible, this barn could be on an island in the harbor. Nice!   Posted: 11/11/2025 22:52:19
I agree Marti that this is a good idea. However, visually it has an uncomfortable or nunatural feeling for me. During my exhibition days when we did montages, the favorite requirement was that the combined images needed to have a "perfect marriage". The background buildings are just overpowering and almost falling onto the Mormon Row Barn. Possibly reducing the size of the background buildings could suggest some separation and a better relation between the two.   Posted: 11/18/2025 23:36:15
