Nice choice for the conversion. I love the graininess and the ripple of water in the foreground. Good work!

For me this image is about the different lines, starting with the vertical slats around the base of the lighthouse, then the horizontal lines of the fence, the the angular lines of the rocks in the jetty, then the circular lines of the lighthouse intersected with circular port holes and finishing with the vertical light pole at the top.

I'd like to see more ski at the top and clean the spots up in the sky.   Posted: 02/12/2025 16:48:17

I think Kaylyn has a lot of interesting points, except perhaps I might add that there is too much negative space on the left. There are nice pattern formed with, and a contrast between, the man made and the organic, what with the waves coming on shore. Well done with the stroke.   Posted: 02/13/2025 15:25:54

At first glance I noticed the extra space on the left and I go along with Peggy, Kaylyn and Jerry's comments. To my eye, this image calls for a vertical format and I would be more comfortable with a little more space at the top, which can be easily added.
Also it appears to me that the top of the lighthouse is pulling a bit to the right. Is it me?   Posted: 02/23/2025 00:15:45
